I hope you are well and are happy.  I think of you often and pray for you happiness and fulfillment in life. 

I recently began a program to become a biblical counselor.  It will take about 12 -18 months to complete the course, but I have always felt fulfilled when people have come to me for counsel in the past.  I was encouraged to do this by an elder in my church who I have been in a Bible study with for about 7 years.

Congratulations, Amanda !

Hey, Amanda.  How are you doing? 

I was just thinking about you.  Hope you are well.  You've almost completed your freshman year of college.  CONGRATUALTIONS !!!!!  I am so proud of you !!!!

I am starting a course of study to become a biblical counselor through a national organization.  It will take about 12 - 18 moths.  An elder in our church that I have been meeting with in a men's Bible study encouraged me to pursue this.  It is something I've always felt God was leading me to.  I've always felt that I was fulfilling God's purpose for my life when people have come to me before in an informal way for counsel. 

I pray that God reveals His purpose for you, and that you can pursue it sooner than I have.  I pray for this for your life.  It will be fulfilling if you do.  I pray for your happiness.   

I was recommended to be a Gideon, so I will be putting Bibles in the hands of students, in hotel rooms, nursing homes, etc.  I usually go fishing one day a week and see the sights around St. Augustine.  God has certainly made a beautiful creation in the sun, sand, waves and wind.  I am blessed to live in such a beautiful place.

This blog is set up so that we can communicate and share our lives while we are separated.  It is so you know how hard I fought to be there for you, and so that you can regain that part of yourself that has been lost since the divorce between you mother and I.  I did not divorce either of you.  I look forward to the time that we are back together and can share our lives as we always did.  I have great memories of both of you and wish for notheing more that to reminise together and make more memories.
